# Glasgow Rangers: Fans unhappy with Lille’s bid for Alfredo Morelos

**Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos has already hit the ground running this season.**

On Sunday, he scored twice against St Mirren as the Ibrox outfit won 3-0, already their [second league win](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/table) of the campaign. His overall tally with the 54-time Scottish champions now stands at [79](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/338962) goals in 140 matches – he has been an inspiration ever since he signed in 2017.

However, his future with Steven Gerrard’s side remains uncertain – there continues to be plenty of speculation linking him with a move away from Scotland, and it appears that Lille is the likeliest destination. He is already said to have [agreed personal terms](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-transfer-rumours/glasgow-rangers-alfredo-morelos-reportedly-agrees-to-join-ligue-1-side-lille/) with the Ligue 1 side and it has now emerged that the ‘Gers have [rejected](https://www.lavoixdunord.fr/849669/article/2020-08-09/mercato-losc-jonathan-david-passe-sa-visite-medicale-ce-lundi) a bid worth €15m (£13.5m) for his services.
