**[As per Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/west-brom-register-interest-in-signing-rangers-star/), West Bromwich Albion have enquired about Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.**

Morelos has continually been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, with him even said to have [agreed personal terms](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-transfer-rumours/glasgow-rangers-alfredo-morelos-reportedly-agrees-to-join-ligue-1-side-lille/) with Lille.

Now, it is the newly-promoted Premier League side who are eyeing the 24-year-old as they look to add to their attacking options.

Morelos is on the edge of departing the 54-time Scottish champions, it seems – that appears to be no longer up for debate. Now, it is about the Gers and the Colombia international himself securing a deal that will satisfy all parties involved.

The likes of [Porto](https://tvi24.iol.pt/videos/desporto/mais-transferencias-foi-o-carrasco-na-liga-europa-agora-e-alvo-do-fc-porto/5f4d31980cf2dcf51aae2edb), [Bayer Leverkusen](https://www.donbalon.com/futbol/bundesliga/alfredo-morelos-puede-ir-a-la-bundesliga-hay-oferta-concreta), [AC Milan](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-7-times-cl-winners-contact-rangers-about-stunning-alfredo-morelos-deal/) and [Marseille](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-new-rangers-transfer-twist-as-french-club-ready-big-money-offer/) have all been mentioned alongside Lille – all of these sides will either be playing European football next term, or are at least world-renowned institutions whose return to the good times may be just around the corner – with all due respect to the Baggies, they do not fall into either of these categories.

With a Transfermarkt value of [£13.5m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/marktwertverlauf/spieler/338962), it has been said the Gers want [£20m](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/steven-gerrard-alfredo-morelos-warning-rangers-lille) for their star player – the Midlands club have already parted with [£18m](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54034555#:~:text=West%20Ham%20captain%20Mark%20Noble%20says%20he%20is%20angry%20after,promotion%20to%20the%20Premier%20League.) to secure the services of Grady Diangana next summer, and it remains to be seen whether they can match the Gers’ demands. Morelos, though, will surely feel he can do better.
