# Global superstar likely to choose Arsenal for summer transfer

![Ibrahimovic](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Ibrahimovic-500x316.jpg)Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have endured a turbulent few months but there’s a rise in optimism today, after our landlord interrupted their game of pool to tell them about a interesting transfer story.

*[Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2016/03/15/zlatan-ibrahimovic-likely-to-make-arsenal-transfer-over-other-options-5752529/)*[state](https://metro.co.uk/2016/03/15/zlatan-ibrahimovic-likely-to-make-arsenal-transfer-over-other-options-5752529/) Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibramovic is likely to choose Arsenal as his destination this summer when his contract with the French giants draws to a close.

A number of top sides, including many in the Premier League, have been linked with a move for the veteran Swede but Arsenal appeal to be at the front of the queue, with the [news backed up by *Bleacher Report’s* Dean Jones](https://metro.co.uk/2016/03/15/zlatan-ibrahimovic-likely-to-make-arsenal-transfer-over-other-options-5752529/)– who has broken a number of top stories in the past.

> ‘Whether Arsene Wenger is there or not, Zlatan Ibrahimovic should be in Arsenal shirt. I really hope this is the pick for him.’

With Arsenal desperate for a world-class central forward, Ibrahimovic would be the perfect fit but Arsenal would have to match his massive wages. Not  required to pay a transfer fee for his services though, our landlord can see this deal going ahead.

**Arsenal fans, would you take Ibrahimovic this summer? Let us know in the comments below!**
