# Arsenal: Fans bemoan transfer links with Liverpool’s Adam Lallana

**Many Arsenal fans have been bemoaning the latest transfer reports linking the club with a move for a Liverpool player.**

[According to The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/02/06/adam-lallana-line-forbrendan-rodgers-reunion-afterleicester/), the Gunners are interested in making a move for attacking midfielder Adam Lallana, whose contract expires in the summer. However, they aren’t the only club who are looking to make a move, with Leicester City said to be leading the race to sign him as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are also reported to be monitoring developments.

Lallana has been playing a bit-part role for the Merseysiders this season, making just three Premier League starts for Jurgen Klopp’s men [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/leistungsdaten/spieler/43530). In comparison to Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, the [former Southampton player](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/21683/Show/Adam-Lallana) averages just 0.3 key passes per league game, less than the [German](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/13/Show/England-Arsenal). Fans were left feeling underwhelmed after links with the player emerged as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful:
