# Wolves: Fans react to Haris Seferovic transfer update

**Many Wolves fans have been left to react to a transfer update on Haris Seferovic.**

As per [Correio da Manha](https://cmjornal.pt/) (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/euros-success-lead-club-double-price-e30m-everton-wolves-target-player-dreams-pl/)), both the Midlands club as well as Everton have made contact with Benfica over his potential signing in the summer window.

However, the Portuguese team are demanding a fee of €30m (£25.7m) for his signature, which is pretty steep for a 29-year-old.

Nonetheless, Seferovic has impressed at both club level and for his country, with no fewer than 26 goals scored and a further seven assists made in 48 games in total over all competitions for Benfica in the 2020/21 season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/haris-seferovic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/109256/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)), followed by a brace against world champions France at Euro 2020 as Switzerland impressively knocked them out ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/haris-seferovic/nationalmannschaft/spieler/109256/verein_id/3384/plus/0?hauptwettbewerb=&wettbewerb_id=EM20&trainer_id=&start=Feb+6%2C+2013&ende=Jul+1%2C+2021&nurEinsatz=0)).

There would be some doubts over whether he would play over Raul Jimenez though if he is fit, and £25.7m is a lot to spend on a potential bench player.
