# Liverpool: Fans applaud Harvey Elliott’s move to Blackburn Rovers

**Plenty of [Liverpool](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/liverpool/) fans were delighted to see youngster [Harvey Elliott](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/tag/harvey-elliott/) move to Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.**

The 17-year-old has [wowed the Anfield faithful](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/liverpool/liverpool-fans-are-loving-true-warrior-harvey-elliott/) since he arrived from Fulham [last summer](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/07/28/harvey-elliott-signs-liverpool-fulham/), picking up a Premier League winners’ medal for his troubles and signing his [first professional contract](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53311848) back in July.

Playing for the club that he’s [supported](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-nike-kit-harvey-elliott-18696876) since he was a young boy, Elliott has made [nine](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harvey-elliott/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/565822/verein/31) Premier League appearances so far, with manager Jurgen Klopp [singing his praises](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2019/09/jurgen-klopp-praises-special-player-harvey-elliott-for-impact-on-liverpool-debut/) after describing him as a “special player”. This is [considerably more](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/279455) first-team showings than other fringe players like Harry Wilson, who has been at the club his [entire career](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team/player/harry-wilson).

Elliott has now put [pen to paper](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-news-harvey-elliott-22857802) with the Championship side until the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign, which got done just a few hours before Friday’s 5pm domestic deadline passed.

Unsurprisingly, this attracted a positive reaction for a player who is yet to experience first-team football on a regular basis, which he will now get the opportunity to take advantage of.
