# Hilarious: Liverpool fans react as David Luiz looks set for Chelsea debut

***The Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are convinced that their clash against Chelsea on Friday will go their way…***

Games between Chelsea and Liverpool are always one of the most hotly contested fixtures of the Premier League calendar, and we’re expecting a full house in the Football Transfer Tavern.

Whilst Chelsea fans typically go into these games brimming with confidence, it is the Liverpool fans in the Tavern that are making all the noise this week…

The main reason for that is, without doubt, the [news](https://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2016/09/terry-injury-update.html) that John Terry will miss the game through injury – meaning that David Luiz looks set to make his second Chelsea debut.

The Chelsea fans in the Tavern are not confident with the Brazilian making his debut in such a high profile fixture, whilst the Liverpool faithful are delighted that the Chelsea captain will miss out.

The feelings in the Tavern are clear – but our landlord wants to find out if Liverpool fans online share the optimism with their Red neighbours in the Tavern.

The return of David Luiz to the Chelsea defence has the Anfield faithful tweeting like mad – and they all share a very similar outlook…
