# Huge 92% of Palace fans want Zaha to play as a winger

**With Crystal Palace looking like the frontrunners to sign Chelsea’s Victor Moses in January, [we discussed what that would mean for The Eagles](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/landing-moses-may-force-hodgson-to-change-zahas-position/).**

A possibility is that Wilfried Zaha would be deployed as a striker, with Moses and Andros Townsend as the wingers either side of him.

The Ivorian is already playing as a striker this season for the club, as manager Roy Hodgson has not wanted to rely on his other forwards that are underperforming. However, Zaha is naturally a winger, and, as the club’s best player, there is a question as to whether he should be played in his best position.

With that in mind, we asked you where Zaha should play, and these were the results:

Crystal Palace fans have clearly had enough of Zaha playing as a striker, with a huge 92% wanting the 26-year-old to play in his natural position as a winger. They must be despairing at the moment as he lines up as a centre-forward, but then again, with the dearth of in-form strikers, there is little else Roy Hodgson can do.
