# ‘If we sign Griezmann he’d win us the league’ – Man United fans go nuts after amazing goal

**Not often is there a period of silence in the Transfer Tavern, but when Antoine Griezmann smashed the ball goalwards from 30+ yards last night, not a sound was made.**

The moment the Atletico Madrid’s man’s shot hit the back of the net, though, the cheers erupted, and few were louder than the Manchester United supporters in their booth, with [the Frenchman a top target for the club this summer](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/592895/Antoine-Griezmann-Manchester-United-Paul-Pogba).

Although a deal will obviously be hard to work given the fees that will be needed and the likelihood that every top club in Europe will want him, Red Devils are getting pretty darn excited, and it’s easy to see why from the sheer quality of the goal in question vs. Deportivo La Coruna…

Even our landlord was motionless in the wake of Griezmann’s effort, but he’s been out in his beer cellar for a while now putting together some of the bets reactions on Twitter to the moment of magic…
