# Impressive Celtic man making waves in Europe

**Though a narrow win over Dundee barely lived up to the pulsating 3-3 draw with Manchester City, it has still been a great week for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern.**

Still, the Bhoys propping up the bar would rather not have read reports from the [Daily Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/716889/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Bundesliga-Scottish-Premiership-Transfer-News-Bayern-Munich) linking one of their best players with a blockbuster move away.

They [suggest](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/716889/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Bundesliga-Scottish-Premiership-Transfer-News-Bayern-Munich) German juggernauts Bayern Munich are casting keen eyes over Kieran Tierney, following his emergence into a first-team lynchpin.

In a market that represents such a dearth in top quality full-backs, the Bavarian giants are [believed](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/716889/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Bundesliga-Scottish-Premiership-Transfer-News-Bayern-Munich) to have scouted the 19-year-old in the Champions League game with City.

While the teenager is [reported](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/716889/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Bundesliga-Scottish-Premiership-Transfer-News-Bayern-Munich) to be happy to stay in Glasgow, the nature of his strong performances in recent months are [said](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/716889/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Bundesliga-Scottish-Premiership-Transfer-News-Bayern-Munich) to have created a strong wave of interest throughout Europe.

The Scotland international only penned a new five-year deal with the SPFL champions earlier this summer, though has progressed rapidly since his debut.
