Leeds United suffered a heavy defeat prior to the international break as they were thumped 4-1 by a dominant West Bromwich Albion side at the Hawthorns.
Marcelo Bielsa has had plenty of time to reflect on Leeds’ recent results during the international break and will have certainly come up with a few plans to avoid a horror show like last time out.
And, with Bristol City up next for Leeds in the Championship, supporters will expect nothing less than three points.
However, the South American would have kept a close eye on all of his players on international duty, with Ezgjan Alioski, Stuart Dallas, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Tyler Roberts, Will Huffer and Mateusz Klich all away.
Stuart Dallas was away on international duty with Northern Ireland during the break and started both games against the Republic of Ireland and Austria. He featured on the left-hand side of the defence against the Austrians and was deployed at left midfield against Martin O’Neill’s side.
Leeds United have had to deal with a couple of injuries in defence in recent times, with Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi currently spending time out on the sidelines.
So, with Dallas showing his versatility by putting in an impressive performance against Austria in a problem position for Leeds United at full-back, it highlights his important to Bielsa as he literally has the ability to play anywhere.
The 27-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Whites this season and is set to make plenty more, with his experience and stamina set to helps Leeds in defence and attack as they continue to chase promotion.
