Introducing: Spurs’ next potential Bale, Ryan Sessegnon

Introducing: Spurs’ next potential Bale, Ryan Sessegnon

Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to put things right against Chelsea tonight after failing to get the better of Burnley at Turf Moor in their last Premier League outing.

It appears as if Spurs have their sights set on securing a possible summer swoop at this moment in time, as according to Teamtalk, Tottenham are ready to offer Fulham a deal worth up to £20 million for Ryan and Steven Sessegnon.

Of course, Steven Sessegnon has plenty of potential but Spurs will be more focused on bringing Ryan to North London, as the Fulham man has all the ingredients to become a star in the Premier League.

Sadly, Ryan Sessegnon has struggled to secure regular minutes at Craven Cottage in the current campaign, but he’s still managed to produce an impressive two goals and five assists. The 18-year-old made a name for himself last season in the Championship by scoring 16 goals and assisting eight, so it’s clear to see that he’s a special talent.

Ryan could just be Spurs’ next Gareth Bale as the Englishman originally started out as a left-back but has operated higher up the field in recent times, which is exactly what Bale did. And, the Fulham star was even compared (as per Marca, via Standard) to the Welshman by his former manager Slavisa Jokanovic, as the Serbian had this to say:

“He is an incredible player project, with a fantastic physical capacity. People compare him to Bale, for me it’s a mix between Marcelo and Bale. I’ve used him lately in a more offensive role, but he’s ready to be left-back of a big team that constantly attacks. He still has a lot of room for improvement.”

So, with the Englishman already being compared to one of the world’s best attackers, it makes sense for Daniel Levy to bring Sessegnon, who is valued at £31.5 million (by Transfermarkt), to Spurs.
