Tottenham remain just five points behind leaders Manchester City in the title race with a game in hand as things continue to heat up at the top of the Premier League table.
And things could be about to get even better for the north London outfit and its supporters with a certain someone set for an early return from injury.
The Daily Mirror reports talisman Harry Kane, who was initially ruled out of action until March following an ankle ligament injury picked up against Manchester United, could be available for Tottenham’s clash versus Burnley at Turf Moor this Saturday.
In his absence, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have gotten on just fine, keeping the club’s title dream alive while making progression into the Champions League quarter-finals almost a certainty.
The likes of Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and even Fernando Llorente have really stepped up, showing this Tottenham side are anything but a one-man team.
But with the quality at the top of the league so high this season, Tottenham need the likes of Kane and Dele Alli back as soon as possible.
The duo are both capable of coming up with not just goals but, winning ones, when the team are not playing at their best. And that could go a long way with little separating the Premier League top three right now.
