West Bromwich Albion’s main focus at this moment in time will be to secure promotion to the Premier League, but judging by their recent form that won’t be an easy task.
The Baggies need to sort themselves out before the play-offs arrive as they’ve failed to ensure consistency in the Championship recently, with two losses, two wins and one draw in their last five games.
Although, one positive in the current campaign has been the rise in form of a couple of the club’s youngsters, as the likes of Kyle Edwards and Rekeem Harper have made a positive impact in the Championship.
And, it looks as if the Baggies may have another exciting talent waiting in the wings…
Jamie Soule is a name that not many fans will be familiar with as he’s not made his first team debut yet, but he’s certainly making a name for himself in the youth ranks in the current campaign.
The 18-year-old has produced 14 goals and four assists this season, including six goals and two assists in nine Premier League 2 appearances. Many youngsters go under the radar when it comes to stepping up to a higher age group, but Soule has been quite the opposite as he’s excelled against tougher players.
Of course, he’s definitely not ready to tackle the play-offs in the current campaign but he could definitely play a part next season, after seeing the likes of Jonathan Leko, Rekeem Harper and Kyle Edwards in the first team this season.
West Brom could do with having an extra striker at their disposal as Dwight Gayle’s loan deal is set to expire in the summer, while Hal Robson-Kanu hasn’t been able to pose much of a threat, so give the youngster a chance.
