Watford will definitely be pleased with how things are currently going in this Premier League campaign to say the least.
After 10 games, the Hornets find themselves sitting seventh in the table on 19 points after a bunch of good results and performances with a 2-1 win versus Tottenham at home back at the start of September standing out in particular.
And much of the above has to go down to manager Javi Gracia, who looks capable of finally giving Watford some much needed stability.
In the Pozzo family’s defence, the model of continuously having a change of manager has worked. Under the likes of Slavisa Jokanovic and Quique Flores Sanchez, Watford have enjoyed some very good moments at Vicarage Road.
But going forward, the club would surely like to see one man stay in the dugout beyond one season and truly develop the team into something special. And in Gracia, they may just have that.
On top of the good results picked up so far, Gracia has also managed to deliver much entertainment to Vicarage Road. The Hornets are playing with a flair and swagger as Roberto Pereyra and Gerard Deulofeu continue to terrorise defenders.
With a new contract for Gracia possibly on the cards, Watford now have the chance to build something for the long haul.
