Everton face Crystal Palace in a game where both sides need the three points to kick on this season.
Now with Marco Silva at the helm, there is plenty of expectation surrounding the Toffees this season, especially following the summer where they brought in a host of new players. Among the new cohort of stars to join the club was Brazilian attacker and former Shakhtar Donetsk man Bernard.
The Brazilian has been used sparingly so far by Marco Silva and has only made five appearances in the league but over the last two games, he’s started to pick up some form and could prove to be too much for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka has had a solid start to the season. The English fullback broke into the first-team last year and has so far continued to keep his place in the side. However, against Bernard, he comes up against an attacker that is just hitting form for his new club and in tandem with Richarlison, could be a serious threat tomorrow.
Excellent with the ball at his feet, Bernard is a typical Brazilian attacker as he possesses the technical talent to be able to do most things when attacking with the ball.
While his stats from his time in Ukraine aren’t particularly outstanding, the fact remains that the small Brazilian is still a serious threat. Moreover, with Silva’s penchant for attacking football and with Richarlison switching inside, Wan-Bissaka is going to be in for a tough afternoon tomorrow.Like what the TT have on offer?
