Blackburn take on Leeds in a game that could come as a potential banana skin for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Rovers go into the game following a 1-0 win over Bolton before the international break and having only lost two games so far this season. The main culprit of Rovers’ form has been star midfield man, Bradley Dack who has been one of the standout players of the league so far this season.
With the midfielder in such superb form, he could well be about to cause a lot of problems for Kalvin Phillips.
In nine games this season Dack has scored an incredible six goals this season, while also grabbing two assists. Possessing the rare ability to create as well as scoring goals, Dack has become not only one of the form players in the league but one also one of the best overall.
Last season the attacking midfielder scored 18 goals while also registering nine assists and this year he’s continued that superb form. In the EFL Cup, the midfielder put in one of his best displays in a Rovers shirt as he scored two goals to go along with three assists.
While Leeds have a fairly stingy defence, Dack’s movement off the ball and his ability to be such a threat going forward is going to cause Kalvin Phillips all kinds of trouble. The holding midfielder has been a rock for Bielsa this season but as we have seen at times, Bielsa is not afraid of substituting the midfielder early on games and that could well happen today if Dack plays anywhere close to his form.
