# West Ham United: Fans react as reports suggest a move for Josh King is on the cards

**Many [West Ham United](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/?s=west+ham) fans are getting excited as it looks like the club are going to make use of the domestic transfer window. The latest news suggests they might look to sign [Josh King](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-transfer-rumours/everton-fans-want-josh-king-transfer-premier-league/) from Championship outfit Bournemouth.**

The transfer window is still open in England for the [Premier League and the three Football League divisions](https://talksport.com/football/665959/when-is-transfer-deadline-day-premier-league-transfer-news-manchester-united-chelsea-liverpool-arsenal/#:~:text=The%20window%20will%20shuts%20on,permanently%20up%20until%20October%2016.). They can negotiate with each other but Premier League sides are not able to negotiate with teams in the same division.

It is being heavily reported by journalists such as [Jack Rosser](https://twitter.com/JackRosser_/status/1314130570545332225?s=20) and [Sam Inkersole](https://twitter.com/Sam_InkersoleTM/status/1314144115500683265?s=20) that a move for the Norway forward is possible from the Irons. As originally reported by [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/771026/west-ham-talks-josh-king-agent-bid-bournemouth/), West Ham have reportedly made contact with King’s agent over a deal to sign him from Bournemouth, who would consider bids of around £10m-15m.

King has scored 50 goals in his 171 appearances for the Cherries , per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joshua-king/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/91059/verein/989), including 48 in the Premier League. This highlights that he would seemingly be a good option to bolster the attack for West Ham.

### Here is how some West Ham fans are reacting following the Josh King links:
