# West Ham: Fans react as the club set to scout Czech Republic for potential signings

**West Ham United seem to be enjoying [two recent transfers](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/transfers/verein/379) the club made from central Europe, as Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek have become vital additions to the [starting XI](https://m.football-lineups.com/team/West-Ham-United/) since their respective arrivals in east London.**

The duo’s success has seemingly influenced the board’s recruitment plans. According to[Claret and Hugh](https://www.claretandhugh.info/), and as tweeted by [@whufc\_news,](https://twitter.com/whufc_news/status/1321228154493636612?s=20) the Hammers are eagerly scouting the top sides in the Czech Republic.

This is after the recent success they have had with Soucek and Coufal, who [both arrived from Slavia Prague](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jumplist/transferstroeme/verein/379/saisonIdVon/2010/saisonIdBis/2020/zuab/zu/verein_id/62), with the Irons also seeking a new striker.

This development has received a mixed reaction from some of the West Ham faithful on Twitter.
