[The Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/459578/Transfer-News-Man-Utd-Liverpool-Arsenal-Gossip-Rumours-Pedro-Ryan-Kent-Joel-Campbell) are reporting that Costa Rican striker, Joel Campbell, who impressed in the same World Cup group as England last year, could be on his way to Italian club side Palermo.

A Chief of the Serie A outfit, Maurizio Zampirini,[is said to be currently in London](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/459578/Transfer-News-Man-Utd-Liverpool-Arsenal-Gossip-Rumours-Pedro-Ryan-Kent-Joel-Campbell)trying to negotiate a deal after the club has been trying to sign the South American striker most of summer, but failing to meet the £7 million asking price.

The landlord here in the Transfer Tavern had a word to say about this one: “I don’t think the Gunners should sell him in my opinion, at 23 he could definitely still come good for the club”.
