# Is this proof Liverpool have the luckiest charm in the Premier League?

**Though barely the most inspiring of Premier League characters, the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been walking in a James Milner wonderland of late.**

In fact, it seems the 30-year-old is in fact *so* good at football that he can perform in other people’s positions better than the natural option.

Moulded into a left-back under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp, the recently retired England international has proved a welcome tonic to the Alberto Moreno induced woe those on Merseyside have had to endure.

Still, a stat recently revealed by [Opta](https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/780794581424173056) would indicate the former Manchester City man is a luckier charm in an attacking sense too.

It appears whenever Milner has scored in a Premier League game, his sides have NEVER lost.

43 times across his spells with City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, he has never once lost in a league game where he has bagged a goal.

Incredible.

**Is Milner still underrated? Let us know below…**
