# Is this proof that Liverpool are on to a winner under Jurgen Klopp?

***This makes good reading for the Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern…***

Liverpool have had their best start to the season in years, and the Reds currently sit at the top of the pile in the Premier League.

In just under a year, Jurgen Klopp has turned Liverpool from a faltering, disappointing outfit into a side that look ready to be champions of England.

Everyone in the Tavern thinks that Liverpool’s start has been impressive – but nobody knew that it was this good…

[According to OptaJoe](https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/796678171643052032) on Twitter, Liverpool have already scored 40 goals this season – and that is a record that has not been bested by the Reds since the 1895-96 season.

Incredible!

Just 1 year after joining the club, Jurgen Klopp has been the man to break a 121-year-old record.

Our landlord thinks that he deserves so much credit for what he has done to Liverpool in such a short space of time.

The Liverpool fans in the Tavern think that this could, finally, be their year…
