# Leeds: Jesse Marsch unhappy with challenge on Stuart Dallas

**Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch was unimpressed with a tackle on Stuart Dallas in the Whites’ unforgettable 3-2 victory over Wolves on Friday night.**

### The Lowdown: Leeds pick up incredible win

The Whites recorded a priceless Premier League win at Molineux, with the three points potentially proving crucial come the end of the season.

A thrilling contest saw Marsch’s side overcome a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 3-2, with Luke Ayling completing the scoring with a stoppage time winner.

Dallas played the full match at left-back and was on the receiving end of [a nasty tackle](https://twitter.com/flukeyflannery/status/1504977098150137866) by Joao Moutinho, with the Portuguese veteran remaining on the pitch.

### The Latest: Marsch fumes at tackle on Dallas

Speaking after the game \[via [Leeds Live](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/every-word-marsch-leeds-united-23440117)\], Marsch expressed his displeasure over the challenge, adding that the 30-year-old is ‘suffering’ after it.

The Leeds manager raged: “I thought it was too high. And then I asked the fourth official and they said they reviewed it and they didn’t think it was a read. So in those situations then from what our bench was saying they thought it was a red, but I haven’t seen it again but at the moment it looked bad and certainly Stuart is suffering a little bit from it.”

### The Verdict: Moutinho should have seen red

On a night when Patrick Bamford, Diego Llorente and Mateusz Klich [all suffered injuries](https://twitter.com/PhilHay_/status/1504958959882485772), Dallas was fortunate that he wasn’t taken out of the game as well.

It was a red card tackle by Moutinho, whose foot was extremely high, and on another day the Leeds man could have suffered a serious injury.

As it is, the decision not to send off the Wolves midfielder didn’t come back to haunt the Whites, who showed incredible resilience. That’s a trait that Dallas had by the bucketload, making five tackles, five clearances and one interception against the Old Gold, according to [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/leeds-united-wolverhampton/dsJ).
