# Journalist: Klopp is confident about securing summer Liverpool deal for exciting star

***The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are pretty happy with how their side are doing at present…***

Despite falling short in the Premier League title race, the Reds have clearly grown under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp, and for the fans in the Transfer Tavern – next season could be a banner year for the club.

Indeed, many in the pub think that Liverpool might finally capture Premier League glory next season, though they recognise that a few major signings will be needed this summer.

It would appear as though the club could bring in a few players, too, with [German football expert and journalist Lee Price](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/602304/Liverpool-Transfer-News-Jurgen-Klopp-Julian-Brandt) revealing that Jurgen Klopp is feeling pretty good in his pursuit of German wing wizard Julian Brandt.

Price said, [via the Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/602304/Liverpool-Transfer-News-Jurgen-Klopp-Julian-Brandt), that “Klopp is confident of landing his man \[Brandt\], with his reputation with young players edging him ahead in the race”.

Brandt would certainly offer a lot for the Reds, with his exciting trickery, pace and goalscoring threat likely to compliment the likes of Sadio Mane excellently well. At just 20-years-old, he is certainly an option for the future – but he is arguably one of the most talented young players in Germany.

Will he sign for the Reds this summer? Have your say…
