# Juventus on-alert to sign Southampton’s stellar striker

Those quotes are music to the ears of Juventus, [who are keeping tabs on the Italian striker](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southamptons-graziano-pelle-transfer-target-6801199) after his tremendous performances in England. The late-bloomer netted 16 goals in his inaugural season in English football and has added a further nine to his tally this term.

Southampton endured a sticky start to the season but, led by Pelle’s fantastic performances, have begun to turn the tide in recent weeks. Saints manager Ronald Koeman is a huge fan of the Italian forward, and would be reluctant to let him, but there’s not much he can do if the Champions League giants come calling.
