# Key Chelsea figure set to be subject of multi-million pound offer, fans ought to be worried

**Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t had a great start to the week, as a defeat to Manchester United on Sunday blew the Premier League title race wide open.**

The Blues face another major test this weekend against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley and many fans in the bar are concerned that their castle could come tumbling down in the next few months.

As well as facing a challenge on the field, the Blues face a wealth of uncertainty this summer as the likes of Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa continue to be linked with high-profile moves across Europe.

If that wasn’t concerning enough, our landlord has revealed an interesting report from the continent which suggests Antonio Conte’s services are being eyed by Inter Milan – with *[Gazzetta Dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/17-04-2017/inter-allenatore-simeone-conte-190802795919.shtml?refresh_ce-cp)*[stating a whopping €50m will be offered to the Italian coach.](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/17-04-2017/inter-allenatore-simeone-conte-190802795919.shtml?refresh_ce-cp)

Conte has transformed Chelsea this season but the lucrative offer from Inter, which is broken down in a five-year contract, may prove to be tempting.

However,[a similar offer will be made to Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone.](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/17-04-2017/inter-allenatore-simeone-conte-190802795919.shtml?refresh_ce-cp)

Our landlord believes Simeone is the more likely candidate to take the job at the San Siro, although he expects that move to take place in a year’s time.
