# Key Leeds figure reveals news all Whites fans have been waiting to hear

**Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait to face Reading this weekend with it being another huge Championship clash.**

The Whites are going very well at the moment and signed off before the international break with a fine win over Brighton at Elland Road.

Getting something out of the game this weekend against the Royals, then, would surely be their next key step towards the play-offs at least, and many Whites have been wondering about the fitness of Chris Wood prior to the clash.

Indeed, with him top-scorer for the club, hearing that he’d picked up a knock on international duty was not the news Leeds fans wanted earlier this week.

Now, though, it appears they can relax a little with Garry Monk being quoted by Adam Pope via his Twitter account saying that he should be fit:

Good news, then, for Leeds fans and they’ll be hoping Wood continues his superb form against their fellow play-off rivals.
