**Tonight marks Jurgen Klopp’s 50th game in charge of Liverpool and the Reds fans in the Transfer Tavern are already in dreamland following the German’s impact at Anfield.**

Things could get even better for the Merseyside giants this summer, with the former Borussia Dortmund coach expected to conduct a major overhaul of the squad he inherited from Brendan Rodgers back in October.

A host of top names have been linked, though [the Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund) suggest it could be an emerging talent Klopp turns to in order to further stamp his authority onto the team.

It is claimed that he will battle Dortmund in a [£28m](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund) race to land Rennes forward Ousmane Dembele this summer.

While the 18-year old has previously hinted he would open to a switch to the Bundesliga, it is [believed](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund) the teenage winger had a conversation with the Liverpool chief on the phone this week.

He was [reportedly](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund) impressed as to the plans he heard ahead of what is likely to be a major summer of activity at Anfield under the German’s stewardship.

Rennes are [understood](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund) to want around [€35m](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund)([£27.6m](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/liverpool-ousmane-dembele-competition-borussia-dortmund)) for the 12 goal starlet, in a deal that could reach £28m with incentive based add ons.

**How good a signing would Dembele be for Liverpool?**
