# Liverpool: Fans desperate to sign Kalidou Koulibaly

**Liverpool’s defence currently looks like it does not need any more recruitment.**

The back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson have been in fantastic form so far this campaign – the Reds have the [best defence](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) in the Premier League, and they have managed to keep a huge [nine](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-liverpool/spielplan/verein/31) clean sheets in their last 12 games in the top tier – it is hard to see how they would be able to improve on that at the moment.
