# Everton: Fans gush over Kurt Zouma transfer update

**Many Everton fans have been left gushing as a transfer update emerged on Kurt Zouma.**

As per Telefoot journalist [Julien Maynard](https://twitter.com/JulienMaynard/status/1413514107236483075), the defender is expected to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window, and Everton, Tottenham and AS Roma are all interested in his signature.

Zouma has already declined a move to Wolves, meaning that the Merseyside club still have a chance to secure his services.

The France international enjoyed a fruitful spell while on loan at the Toffees in 2018/19, winning 4.8 of his duels per game in the Premier League, while also averaging 3.8 clearances, 1.7 interceptions and one tackle per match, keeping 10 clean sheets in the process ([Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kurt-zouma/139227)).

A return to Goodison Park could well be a match made in heaven under former Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez.
