As punters tuck into their sausages and scrambled eggs, the talk in The Transfer Tavern is all about Luis Fabiano’s on-off move to AC Milan from La Liga side Sevilla.

Luis Fabiano’s agent José Fuentes is doing his best to rekindle the move to the San Siro.
He said: “If Milan have described the deal as blocked, I now have to think it’s the end, which is the truth.
“I continue to hope to go to Milan but listening to Milan say this, my hope also dies. The most important thing if Milan want, if they really want to do this deal, is for Galliani to contactDel Nido, let him talk directly to the Sevilla president.
“I’ve talked to Luis, he’s a bit disappointed not to be going to Milan, but life goes on.”
