Luis Fabiano Pushes For Milan Move?

Luis FabianoAs punters tuck into their sausages and scrambled eggs, the talk in The Transfer Tavern is all about Luis Fabiano’s on-off move to AC Milan from La Liga side Sevilla.

The Serie A giants seemed keen to recruit the Rojiblancos striker but the move had apparently died a slow death as AC Milan refused to bid more than €20 million to prise the striker from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Today, the Corriere Dello Sport has revealed that the Rossoneri could reignite their interest in the Brazilian International after a series of disastrous pre-season results.

Luis Fabiano’s agent José Fuentes is doing his best to rekindle the move to the San Siro.

He said: “If Milan have described the deal as blocked, I now have to think it’s the end, which is the truth.

“I continue to hope to go to Milan but listening to Milan say this, my hope also dies. The most important thing if Milan want, if they really want to do this deal, is for Galliani to contactDel Nido, let him talk directly to the Sevilla president.

“I’ve talked to Luis, he’s a bit disappointed not to be going to Milan, but life goes on.”

So how much booze was consumed before this story took shape? Could Milan relent and bring Fabiano toItaly? Should this rumour Fly or Die?
