Barcelona: Fans not excited for Lionel Messi’s Argentina return

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi will be returning to action for his country later this month, after being selected to represent Argentina for their upcoming friendlies, per the club’s official website.
The 32-year-old will line-up against two of his Barcelona teammates – Brazilian midfielder Arthur and Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez – during the two upcoming matches (if they are both selected by their respective countries).
The clash against Brazil will take place on November 15 at the King Saud University Stadium, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Three days later at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel, Argentina take on another fellow South American side when they play Uruguay.
Messi’s inclusion in the national team setup hasn’t gone down too well with Barcelona fans, who are unsurprisingly worried about their talisman sustaining an injury – just like he did earlier this year against Venezuela.
Here’s what some supporters had to say about the 32-year-old’s call-up on Twitter.

Well hopefully ….. he’ll finally get some service from his fellow team mates. It’s like watching a thirsty, dying man on a desert island when Messi is playing for Argentina. I can hardly bear to watch. I dunno why he doesn’t just walk off the field.

Messi should just leave Argentina forever if only that Spain deal would come again.
