Barcelona made it three wins from three in La Liga with a 4-0 win over Sevilla on Sunday but fans were not impressed with manager Ernesto Valverde’s team selection prior to the match starting.
The Catalans boss left out Antoine Griezmann from his starting XI on Sunday evening, instead opting for a front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.
That team selection paid off as all three of those managed to find the net, despite the latter being sent off for misconduct in the dying stages.
Dembele is now set to miss the Blaugrana’s next two matches against Eibar and Real Madrid unless he can get the dismissal overturned – something that Sport claim will be very hard to do considering the nature of the sending off.
This could, however, see Griezmann reintroduced to the frame, much to the delight of these Barcelona fans who were left in despair when they saw the official line-ups on Twitter last night…
