Barcelona: Fans don’t want the club to sign Kai Havertz after reports from ESPN

Barcelona fans don’t want the club to sign Kai Havertz after reports linking the club with a potential move for the German.

According to ESPN, the Nou Camp giants will watch the Bayer Leverkusen youngster in the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.

However, they are not the only club who seem to be tracking the exciting youngster, who scored 20 goals last season (via Transfermarkt).

Manchester United are also thought to be sending scouts to watch Havertz in tonight’s fixture, according to The Daily Star.

ESPN are reporting that the 20-year-old will cost at least €80m (roughly £68.8m) with Barcelona well aware the midfielder will not come on the cheap.

However, despite Havertz’s quality, fans were bemused as to why the club are chasing his signature with one midfield player proving popular among the supporters, who reacted on Twitter.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Barcelona fans:

Barcelona fans, what do you make of the links with Havertz? Are you happy with them? Let us know your thoughts!
