Barcelona left it late to beat Inter in their Champions League encounter at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
Was missing out on Neymar a blessing in disguise for Barcelona?
Having initially fallen behind thanks to a Lautaro Martinez goal when the game was just two minutes old, Luis Suarez hit back for the hosts just before the hour mark.
Barcelona’s confidence continued to rise as the game went on, and the Catalans finally made a breakthrough on the 84th minute, with Luis Suarez doubling his total with a well-taken finish after some superb work from captain Lionel Messi in the build-up.
The La Liga giants ended the game as 2-1 winners and now sit second in Group F, level on points with leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Wednesday night’s win now means that Barca have won their previous three matches in all competitions, after a poor spell which saw the Blaugrana win just one of their previous four games prior to that (per Soccerway).
Despite this rise in form, some fans of the club still want manager Ernesto Valverde replaced…
