Real Madrid: Fans not happy with Thibaut Courtois performances

It has been a tough start to the season for Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. 

The Belgian international endured a difficult first campaign in the Spanish capital after arriving from Chelsea last term and his performances have not got any better this season.

His latest below-par display came in Los Blancos’ embarrassing 3-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

For his performance between the sticks, Marca slated the former Chelsea custodian.

‘Whatever gets thrown at him, Courtois can’t seem to save it’, they wrote.

It means that the 27-year-old has now failed to keep a clean sheet for the club since February, which includes 12 straight La Liga matches. It is his worst run as a professional goalkeeper, and he has let in 56 goals in his first 40 matches for the Spanish giants (via talkSPORT.)

The Real Madrid fans below are starting to lose patience with Courtois and it didn’t help that Keylor Navas kept a clean sheet for PSG at the other end. Indeed, the Costa Rican was ousted by the Belgian last season despite the huge amount of success he’d enjoyed in the Spanish capital.
