Gareth Bale is currently ruled out with a calf injury and has missed Real Madrid’s two matches against RCD Mallorca and Galatasaray due to his recovery, per Transfermarkt.
The Wales international has struggled with consistent injuries during recent seasons, with it seemingly impossible for him to remain fit throughout the whole duration of a campaign.
However, Bale has still managed to find the net twice, whilst also registering two assists for Los Blancos this season, which is more than can be said for the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic – who have so far struggled to find their feet at the Bernabeu following their respective summer moves from Chelsea and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The lack of goalscorers in Real’s current starting XI means that Bale’s absence is a big miss for the club, with many supporters hoping that his latest injury setback doesn’t rule him out for too much longer:
