Real Madrid: Fans comment on Cristiano Ronaldo storming off for Juventus

Something happened to Cristiano Ronaldo this weekend that never usually happens to the Portugal international – he was substituted.
The ex-Real Madrid superstar was brought off by Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri on the 55th minute and replaced by Paulo Dybala, who went on to score the winner for the Old Lady in a 1-0 win over AC Milan.

Ronaldo left the stadium early after being withdrawn from the action, according to Sky in Italy (via Sky Sports), with it now not known whether he will start Juve’s next match against Atalanta after the international break.
After the incident, many Madrid fans were quick to comment on the situation, with some pleading for the 34-year-old to return to the Bernabeu.
One supporter even claimed he knew it was never meant to be, believing that Ronaldo should have retired in Madrid.

The more I see Cristiano at Juventus, the more I know that he was never meant to leave Real Madrid. It wasn’t supposed to end like this. He should have retired with us and we should have never let him go. Things just aren’t the same, for the both of us. 😔 pic.twitter.com/t0EMETtzY8
