Many Real Madrid fans were unsurprisingly livid after their side went 2-0 down to Club Brugge in their second Champions League match.
Will Zinedine Zidane last the season at Real Madrid?
Emmanuel Bonaventure grabbed both goals versus Real at the Bernabeu, with the second being a delightful chip over Thibaut Courtois in goal.
Thankfully for Madrid, they managed to come over the first half blip and salvage a point versus the Belgian side.
After half-time, Sergio Ramos was able to halve the deficit for Madrid before Casemeiro converted a header from a free kick, ensuring that both sides shared the spoils.
Brugge had a man sent off just prior to the free kick, with Ruud Vormer picking up a second yellow card for fouling Vinicius Junior in the 84th minute, the incident which lead to Real’s equaliser. Still, while the 13-time European champions ended the game positively, that clearly wasn’t always the case.
With that in mind, here are some of the responses below to Real Madrid going 2-0 down…
Group Stage elimination is on the way.
