# Liverpool: Fans discuss Adam Lallana following Troy Deeney comments

**At the end of this campaign, Adam Lallana is [set to leave Liverpool](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51556874).**

The 31-year-old joined the Reds from Southampton in 2014 and has since made [171](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/43530) appearances for the Anfield outfit. Whilst persistent [injuries](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/verletzungen/spieler/43530) have prevented him from becoming a regular starter for Jurgen Klopp in recent years, he has still had a successful career on Merseyside, winning the Champions League along the way.

He has been a regular for England, as well, with 34 caps in total, but his time at the club has come to an end. Watford striker Troy Deeney, though, [believes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4yP7P64H2I&feature=youtu.be) he will have no lack of potential suitors this summer – he thinks he would walk into 90% of the teams in the Premier League, as he told The United Stand.

His comments have been picked up by Twitter page [Anfield Edition](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEdition/status/1246872901883768833), and they have got the club’s supporters talking – many seem to agree with his words, with one fan even calling him the “[English Santi Cazorla](https://twitter.com/AshwathRavisan1/status/1247133823092965382?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)“. You can see some of the best reactions from the social media platform below.

> We are spoiled at LFC.\
> Lallana and Lovren would walk into every other team, but get battered by a small section of our fans.
