Caixinha plots new dawn at Rangers with latest exciting target (not Alves)

Every single Rangers fan who frequents the Transfer Tavern seems to be expecting a major rebuild under Pedro Caixinha this summer.

The Light Blues are desperate to close the gap on both Celtic and Aberdeen as they plot out what has to be one of the most important summers at Ibrox in decades.

With that in mind, the Gers propping up the bar have been treated to a positive transfer line from the Daily Mail. They claim the Glasgow giants are actively pursuing a potential £1.25m deal for Portugal U20 international Fabio Cardoso.

The 23-year-old is understood to be a major target at Ibrox as compatriot Caixinha reportedly plans to pair him with Euro 2016 winner Bruno Alves in central defence.

The latter has been strongly linked with a move from Italy in recent weeks and that potential pairing is certainly something our resident Gers can get on board with.

Crowded around one section of the bar, they’re searching the internet for any scraps of information they can find on the Vitoria Setubal man.
