Overhaul looks to continue for Wolves as they reportedly look to seal big forward deal this summer

The Wolves supporters in the Transfer Tavern will be dancing on the tables if this deal materialises. Indeed, life has been good the Old Gold this season and, with a return to the Premier League looking likely, the summer window looks like it will be an exciting one.

Now, according to the Daily Mirror, Wolves are prepared to battle with Arsenal for the signature of AC Milan and Portugal striker Andre Silva when the summer window opens again . While the 22-year-old has failed to impress as expected since moving to Milan from Porto for big money, he’d certainly prove to be a coup. Indeed, the striker has previously worked for Nuno Espirito Santo during their time at Porto.

The Portuguese striker scored a marvellous total of 21 goals in 44 games for Porto last season, yet he’s only managed nine in 33 games for Milan this campaign – only one of those goals have been scored in the Serie A.

Landlord’s verdict

This deal is clearly dependent on Wolves’ ability to secure their promotion to the Premier League. Despite his poor form this season, Silva is a magnificent talent, who would undoubtedly elevate the standard of the Wolves attack.

At the age of 22, his potential is vast, and he could prove to be a terrific addition to Santo’s team.
