Potential player boost for Leeds United ahead of Norwich City clash

Leeds United fans here in the Tavern are feeling confident after securing all three points last time out, as they face another challenge in the Championship later on today.

The Whites have struggled for consistency throughout the current campaign, but they now appear to be heading in the right direction, as they managed to secure all three points against Paul Heckingbottom’s former club Barnsley last time out in the Championship. And, many of our local residents received some positive news prior to kick-off at Carrow Road later today, as according to BBC Sport’s pre-match team news for Norwich City vs Leeds United, Adam Forshaw could feature and Gaetano Berardi is suspended.

Indeed, Leeds United will be confident as they head into today’s Championship fixture against Norwich City, with Heckingbottom looking for nothing less than three points as his future is looking less than certain.

Encouragingly, January signing Adam Forshaw came on late against Barnsley last time out following a calf problem, and could feature against the Canaries later on today.

However, the Whites will be without defender Gaetano Berardi, who is currently serving a five-match suspension.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Of course, supporters will be desperate to see Adam Forshaw back in the starting lineup as he has made a promising start to life at Elland Road, and could play a huge part later on today. Although, Gaetano Berardi will be a big miss in defensive areas for today’s game as he has come on leaps and bounds in the current campaign.
