Sheffield Wednesday man unlikely to feature again this season but positive light emerges

Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Tavern are feeling rather confident ahead of today’s game, as they’ve managed to secure all three points in their last two Championship outings.

Indeed, the Owls were dominant last time out in the Championship as they managed to inflict defeat on a deflated Reading side, as a Fernando Forestieri double and a rare goal from George Boyd secured all three points. However, supporters received mixed news prior to kick-off at Molineux, as according to BBC Sport’s pre-match team news, Jack Hunt will miss the game, while Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao may start.

Sheffield Wednesday face arguably their biggest test yet in today’s Championship fixture, as they will travel to Molineux to face Premier League-bound Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sadly, Jack Hunt’s Championship campaign looks to be over, as the Owls will be without him for their final two fixtures due to him suffering from a knee injury.

However, there is positive news for supporters, as Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao will look to reignite their star partnership after coming off the bench against Reading last time out, as they could both start.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Sheffield Wednesday will be gutted that Jack Hunt isn’t available for their final two Championship fixtures, but many of our local residents are still confident that their side can secure all three points later today. And, with Nuhiu and Joao possibly featuring in the starting lineup, the Owls may cause an upset.
