Portsmouth: Many fans found Kenny Jackett’s comments laughably obvious

Kenny Jackett has spoken ahead of Portsmouth’s League One match against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, as shown on the club’s official channels.
Will Kenny Jackett still be Portsmouth manager by the end of the season?
Yes

No

The Pompey manager suggested the team wants to put a run together that will see them climb the league, stating that he wants the team to keep improving:
“We want to put a run together that takes us up”

While the thought behind the message is there, many Pompey fans have seen this as being laughably obvious, with the manager not really saying anything of note at all.
In addition to this, even if Jackett was stating something that could actually be put into practice, they don’t feel he is the man to execute it, having given up on the manager, wanting him out of the club.
It is vital the club starts climbing the table soon if they are to reach their aspirations, as even with games in hand, being 16th in the table is not deemed as good enough.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the comment, including posts from unimpressed Portsmouth fans, can be seen below:
we are 2 and a half months into the season, we should’ve improved by now you hamster
