It’s starting to become a regular occurrence now that whenever the international break rolls around, Portsmouth’s fixture is always postponed that weekend to a further date later down the year.

And the November international break is no different, as Portsmouth announced on their official website that their home game against Fleetwood Town in nearly two weeks at Fratton Park has been postponed after Joey Barton’s side exercised their right to call the game off due to having three players called up for national duty.
As you would expect, some Portsmouth fans on social media weren’t too pleased with the news, with this now being the second league match Pompey supporters have had postponed on them this season following similar circumstances against Southend United back in September (per Portsmouth’s official website).
Will Kenny Jackett still be Portsmouth manager by the end of the season?
Here’s what some Portsmouth fans had to say on Twitter about their now-cancelled fixture with Fleetwood, with supporters frustrated that the game against Barton’s side will be played midweek to add to their calendar congestion…
Only making the short trip in from Colorado for this. I needed a new team to dislike, thanks for volunteering @ftfc

Another game that will be rearranged for a Tuesday night! When you live 160 miles away it makes it a little difficult.

Another game, another international weekend when @Pompey are at home, another cancellation. Far too many games have been rearranged, and I can’t get to the Tuesday games due to distance and once again miss out. As a season ticket holder, this is ridiculous. #pup
