Portsmouth: These fans aren’t impressed by message from Mark Catlin

Portsmouth CEO Mark Catlin has completely dismissed the idea of Kenny Jackett being sacked, as shown on the club’s official channels.

Catlin was speaking during the club’s Q&A for August, with the manager’s future being an almost inevitable topic, considering Pompey sit 18th in the table:

There have been various contributions to the frustration surrounding the manager, as indicated by the response to the comments, including the style of play, results and treatment of players.

The latter of those three points will widely be around the treatment of Brett Pitman, who hasn’t started a game this season, as per Transfermarkt and had the captaincy taken away from him.

While there does not seem to be any questioning of Jackett from the board, there is plenty from the fans, with the expectation being that the club simply must do better when they return to action.
