Marcus Harness secured the three points for the south coast side by finishing off a brilliant 25-pass move from Portsmouth. That particular phase of play saw nine-outfield players touch the ball before the Pompey attacker slammed the ball past Nathan Bishop to score the final goal of the night six minutes from time in what was to be a 4-1 win for the hosts (per BBC Sport).
It was a wonderful team effort from Jackett’s side, and Portsmouth supporters on social media were quick to praise the club for the fluid goal that started in their own half of the pitch.
Will Kenny Jackett still be Portsmouth manager by the end of the season?
