Kenny Jackett has revealed that James Bolton, Oli Hawkins and Ryan Williams are all unlikely to be available to face Blackpool, as reported by Portsmouth’s official website.
The Pompey manager has claimed that Bolton could be ready for the EFL Trophy match against Crawley Town on Tuesday, while the other pair are nearing full fitness and could play a part next week.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Portsmouth going into their match against Blackpool.
Bolton has only played 37 minutes of football so far this season, which came when he replaced Anton Walkes during the 1-0 loss against Shrewsbury Town in the opening day of the season, as per Transfermarkt.
Hawkins is yet to make an appearances for Pompey this season, with his only involvement coming when he was named on the bench for the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Birmingham City.
Ryan Williams is yet to have any involvement at all for Portsmouth this campaign, so will be keen to get back in and amongst things.
Each of the three will be raring to get going again and try to earn their place in the team, having had minimal contributions so far between them due to their injuries.
It will also be a bonus for Jackett to have them back, as this would hopefully see him have a full-strength squad, as he hopes for improved form from his side, who have taken just four points from four games in the league.
