Sunderland will take on Notts County at the Stadium of Light in that particular competition later on today, so supporters will be keen to see a couple of potential future stars in action.

The youngster made his debut against Morecambe in the Checkatrade Trophy as he played the full 90 minutes. He rose to the occasion as he impressed in midfield for the Black Cats.
Max Power has struggled to keep himself in check in League One this season with a number of red cards to his name, so perhaps Hackett will follow in Bali Mumba’s path by enjoying a breakthrough in the league.
But for now, Ross should look at giving the 18-year-old another chance tonight to get a closer look at him.
Jack Bainbridge joined on a free transfer back in the summer after being released by Swansea City.
The defender is definitely a player to watch, with a very bright future ahead of him at the age of 20.
He managed to make his debut for the club in the Checkatrade Trophy against Morecambe last month, and did not look out of place at all in what was a rather impressive performance.
